Eclipse goes into Overdrive at Strawberry Musik Festival, Beijing

Independent record label, Modern Sky Records, put on the Strawberry Music Festival just outside Beijing for the second year running over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Despite its relative youth, the Strawberry Music Festival is nevertheless one of the biggest events of its kind in China, boasting six stages including the high-energy heavy metal Overdrive Stage which was run by an Innovason Eclipse digital mixing console.

The console was supplied by local rental company Beijing Zhong Ya Sheng Mei Cultural Co. Ltd, who in fact supplied the entire PA system for the Overdrive Stage and received nothing but praise from engineers and festival-goers alike for the excellent sound quality.

A spokesman from the Beijing Zhong Ya Sheng Mei Cultural Co. Ltd confirmed that they were very happy with the performance of the sound system, and in particular the Eclipse which was highly appreciated by the visiting sound engineers for its configurability and ease of use. In fact, the system was so well received that it was specified for Modern Sky’s next festival, the Xi’an Strawberry Music Festival, a smaller, yet more mainstream event with just three rather than six stages that took place in Xi’an in central China.
